Grandpa Frenchie’s Vegetable Garden
Every morning, Grandpa Frenchie happily waters his vegetables with his shiny little watering can. His garden is full of tomatoes, smiles, and simple reminders that good food, fresh air, and caring for plants are wonderful ways to care for ourselves too. "When vegetables grow, so do happiness and friendship."

The Slow Park
Slow Park is where everyone meets. Some enjoy a peaceful walk, others stretch beneath the trees, and friends gather for long conversations on sunny benches. Here, healthy aging begins with small moments shared together. "Every little step counts."

The Golden Clinic
Dr. Golden welcomes everyone with kindness and a warm smile. Along with checkups, he shares simple tips about disease prevention, healthy aging, and everyday wellness because taking care of yourself is one of the greatest gifts you can give the people you love.

The Chow Chow Bookstore
Books, stories, and warm conversations fill every corner of the bookstore. Uncle Chow Chow believes every person has a story worth sharing, and every story helps bring generations a little closer together.

The Home Care Station

The YAKA Coffee Stand
Fresh coffee, gentle conversations, and peaceful afternoons make this one of the village's favorite gathering places. Whether someone arrives with worries or wonderful news, everyone leaves with a warmer heart.
Meet the Lovely Residents of YAKA Slow Village
Every villager has a unique personality and a special story to share. Through these original illustrated characters, YAKA transforms healthy aging and senior care into warm, memorable adventures that everyone can enjoy.

Grandpa Frenchie
The soul of our village! He always has a magic nose for sniffing out happiness in ordinary, daily life.
Whether tending to his tomatoes or searching for yummy meals, he believes that healthy living is just about walking a little more and laughing a lot more. He loves to pat his tummy with a chuckle: "In our Slow Village, moving slowly is a wonderful way of moving forward!"

Grandma Frenchie
With endless warmth and comforting companionship, she gently cradles everyone who comes to her side.
The warmth of the village! The air always smells of Grandma Frenchie’s freshly baked bread. She can turn a simple cookie or a warm cup of tea into a magical power that melts your worries away. For her, true health starts with caring for your heart. She loves to smile while kneading dough: "Taking care of yourself is the sweetest beginning to family happiness."

Uncle Shiba
He might look a little quiet and serious, but Uncle Shiba simply hides his kindness deep inside!
Rain or shine, he goes for his morning run and tenderly waters his plants. From fixing broken chairs to patching leaky roofs, he is the village helper. He believes health is built step by step, softly saying: "As long as you take the first step, it’s never too late, no matter your age."

Grandpa Husky
Who says retirement means staying at home? Grandpa Husky is always ready to explore!
With his favorite camera, he loves to travel and bring beautiful stories back to the village. He believes that the most exciting view in life doesn't stop with age, but grows richer with every new adventure. He proudly pats his chest: "Today, let's try something we've never done before!"

Professor Owl
He has a superpower to turn complex medical research into simple, everyday stories!
Whenever a villager says, "Professor, I don't understand," Professor Owl closes his thick journals with a smile. He believes that the true value of knowledge belongs in daily life, not just inside a laboratory. He loves sharing health wisdom over a warm cup of tea.

Dr. Golden
Guiding everyone to age healthily with top-notch professional care and endless patience!
Inside his clinic, you’ll hear hearty laughter instead of coughs. Dr. Golden loves sharing tips on disease prevention and chronic care, encouraging villagers to protect their health daily. He often reminds us: "Health is not a miracle; it's a magic built drop by drop, every single day."

Nurse Border Collie
The first to arrive whenever someone needs a helping hand!
Highly organized and deeply thoughtful, she brings professional home care right into daily routines. For her, long-term care should never limit your life; instead, it should empower you to keep doing what you love. She often notes: "True care simply means walking by your side to help you achieve your dreams."

The Village Mayor
The creator behind the village! Every resident was tenderly hand-drawn, stroke by stroke, by our Mayor, Chien-Jung Huang. To perfect the village scenery, she invited AI Sprites to help bring the beautiful backdrops to life. She believes that an illustration or a story can bring a little extra smile and courage to someone’s day. She puts down her brush and whispers with a warm smile: "Welcome home. Let's live slowly together."
